Newbie help

I have a model all set up for an outdoor shoot and while I am sure I have all bases covered, Somthing just popped into my mind, The shoot is outdoors in a field I was wondering would it be better to use spot metering or evalu. Help would be appreciated.

If the field is in the open, and the light isn't changing, spot meter off a gray card then set your camera to manual using those exposure settings. That way you're set for the duration of the shoot. Just remember if you change aperture or shutter speed during the shoot, adjust one of the other parameters to compensate.
