I really hate to do this, epically to the birthday boy, but like they say, the eye sight starts to head downhill after the big 50.:):):):):):):):)
Just for the heck of it i took a quick run over to Ile Bizard to see if there were any ducks and geese hanging around. Never thought I'd see Suzie, but there she was.

The light was really flat and it was very windy, thus the "Bad Feather Day" happening. Not the best shots, but hey, who would of thought that there would have been a Great Grey hanging around in May?:)

Personally I think we should see the exif. It's probably just an old one posted today.

Nonetheless, nice shots. Looks like it was a tad windy when you were out there.

that's a nice one Ian, the second one. Love the expression on the owl's face :-P;)

Those are fantastic shots. It has been years since I have seen an owl up that close in the wild. When we were growing up, a big barn owl would hang around and follow us during the day when we out playing in the forest and fields in Alabama.

Another excellent owl shot, Ian. Nice job.
The second one looks like he's about to say something to you - "Hi Ian, where's my carrot?"
