I went driving out where the owls used to hang out. All I could find are a couple of other birds. Obviously someone else was able to find the owl that I couldn't but the first one came out pretty decently I thought. It wasn't until this guy flew away that I realized he had his lunch firmly in grip. The second one is severely cropped.

Both shot with 20D and 300 f/2.8 with 1.4TC.

The raptor is a gorgeous shot! Very cool - but what is it? The white eye-brow kinda makes it look like a Merlin.
