And Leia is his sister.

Oh and Yoda is his mother.

Oh and Chewbacca is C3P0 and R2D2's secret love child.

Chewbacca is C3P0 and R2D2's secret love child. I thought that was Jar Jar? Oh wait, that was Yoda & C3PO! Sorry! I just can't keep these inter-species things straight sometimes.

Jabba and Obi Wan - that was just ugly. And to think it ended so sadly. :(

I hate that guy.

Looking forward to seeing the new Star Wars movie though - even though I didn't enjoy the last two so much.

I used to be of that opinion but excessive cinema ticket prices, and concession prices so high it hurts have changed my mind. Apparently its changed lots of peoples minds as cinema use is dropping. So what do they do, raise prices! I think they may have a few retards in the marketing department.

I will be seeing episode 3 in the cinema. I saw Hitchhikers in the cinema. Thats it for this year though the rest can be Netflixed.

Hmm as far as I remember (back in 2000) the ticket price in US is fairly low compared to danish prices. But in Denmark more and more people are actually seeing more and more movies in the cinemas and here the price in the good cinemas is around $11-14. I think I paid about $5-6 when I went to see a movie in 2000 when I was in Orlando at that time.

Yeah at work we also go together, I think we were around 60 last time. The "big" event will not be for the midnight show, only 2 of us are cray enough to go at that time  Its one of my friend that got us the tickets by sleeping in front of the cinema days before the tickets went on sale.

I like how they have dealt with that around our parts, same price, but bigger screens, and bigger seats, they even have a thing called the 'Circle Lounge' where you get a leather arm chair and you can order real food!

Hmmm $14 for the poxy cinema 8 down the road with its small screen and tiny chairs, or $14 for the big one up the road with its Imax sized screen and nice seating, tough call  At least the new guys give you something for the price hike.

Yeah its $14 here in Canada too. You can see them at a tiny screen of a Imax screen, same price.

Last movie I saw at a $14 theater was a mattinee for $9 and it was "The return of the king" and the only other movies I have seen since then in a theater was at a Large screen cheap theater for $2.00-$3.00.

I am a blockbuster fan, and a blockbuster 7-day rental fan at that. Hollywood must release like 300 movies a year, there is no way I'll $14 plus $300 for consession when I can pay $4 (or $14 for 6 movies) and $4 at a grocery store. Only a few movies I'll see in the "expensive" theater. I liked Episode 2 (ep 1 sucked!) so I might pay $9 (in the afternoon) to see it. But I wont be crying if I don't see it in the expensive theater, cause I can wait for it on DVD, buy it and watch it in my home that has no snooty teenager making jokes at the stupidest stuff. ;)
