Nice job of it Fer, I like both of them. Prefer the color a little more. The catch lights look really different being in two different spots on your eyes :)

Tight composition is nicely done Fer. I like them both, with the color version having the slight edge, IMO. ;)
I could change my mind again as I view them both again though. :D

I really like this photo as well, but I prefer the sepia version, it looks more "romantic".

This isn't a criticism, really, but every shot of you I've seen, it seems like you've got that "I just lost my dog" expression on your face. Let's see that smile!

Nice pose Fer. You should put up a gallery of self-portraits. You seem to be a very popular photographic subject!

A beautiful picture. I prefer the color though. I think the pretty yellow color of your shirt compliments your great looks. I would go for black n white when your already using dark colors like my self portrait on this page.

Looks like we both did a little bad on the focusing(your right eye, my camera having better focus on my right wrist). =(

Considering my daughter is getting tired of me chasing her with the camera, and my husband doesn't like to be phtographed, and that I don't have models... I think I have to practice with myself ;) LOL

Nathan... I just looked at your self portrait. I like the pose as well and it's not too dark in my monitor, but yes, it's a lil out of focus... We have to work on that... ;)

I would say we could practice taking portraits of eachother, but even with me being in Texas Mexico City is a long drive. Isn't it so hard to get the focus down on yourself, when your not able to see from behind the camera?

I think you did a great job.... my only comment would be to watch what is behind you when you compose the picture... the tree growing from the side of your head detracts from what is a wonderful picture. it's a nit - and minor one as you can tell it didn't distract anyone else. Cheers.
