Some time soon I'm going to spend a whole weekend taking pictures of this castle.
It deserves the full monty, not just the passing glance below.

What an amazing photo. I like the way all the little islands and other lines lead me to the castle in the foreground. The landscape in the distance just balances the shot out perfectly. Well done. As mentioned above, I also envy the scenery in Scotland. I've me told by several people who have travelled that Scotland is the most beautiful place in Europe. (And that you Scot's are the nicest people too!)

I remember a while back you mentioned Applecross.
I decided I fancied a return but now I'm considering a 1D Mk2 and I would have to scrub the expense of Applecross.
I mention this because I notice you have the 1D Mk 2.
Do you find it a bit heavy for hill walking, also how do you find it in general.
