Ok.. total impulse buy... trade the Hummer H3 in on a 2010 Camaro! I am very impressed with the car!

Ok, disclaimer.. it was like 95 degrees and very humid... so i was in snapshot mode!!!! LOL!

well... i had a very very heavily modded 2005 Mustang... kind of became an issue at home... sold it in 2007... I had to promise my wife I wouldn't start modding this one... so... she stays stock for now! LOL

Actually... My H3 was very reasonably priced and took a beating and never had a single problem... was no way a POS in my book...

and of course this is a V6... 304HP V6... I have no need for 400HP... The car is a very fun and spirited ride... and yes it's an automatic too! LOL! Car runs mid-14s stock... will get the car to the track as soon as possible but will most like be a few weeks before I can get out there..

Took the car out for a "spirited" drive tonight... was very impressed with the trannys calibration for "Sport" mode...

Well, still better than a hummer I suppose. I guess I'm just biased because I'd rather have a Tahoe with an upgraded rear end for 1/4 the price and equal performance... and less ugly factor :)

I took the car over to my friends house last night and let him and his wife take it out for a spin.... well, sitting on the porch I got to actually rolling down the street for the first time... now i understand why every one was staring! The car just had so much attitude you simply couldn't help but stare! LOL

well.. the car is heavy!!! But as it sits it is a mid-14 second are... with an average sized driver.. which i am not! LOL!

I promised the wife I wouldn't mod this one... although I did see a dyno sheet showing a 30RWHP gain from just a CAI and cat-back... LOL

Nice shots. I see you got the RS pkg. Is this a 1SS or 2SS? My b/f ordered an Inferno Orange 1SS back in May and has not heard back if it's even started yet. So far GM says they've had 25,000+ orders for Camaros and can not keep up!

I happened to be at the right place at the right time... this was an ordered vehicle that someone backed out on... was the only one the dealer had for sale... total impulse buy on my part... LOL!

@ScottGT... no... was actually a lease... but I can tell you driving home from work, driving conservatively I got 29 MPG!!! That's a mix of city and highway!

I was almost 100@ sure you were going to tell me it was a V6 since it was an impulse buy. :p Most that are on the lots now are one's that people didnt want and some dealers including several in the Northern VA area, are charging $10k over MSRP. I think it's pretty horrible they are doing that given how the economy is and so many people without a job. And even GM going bankrupt and dealerships losing their jobs and operations. You think they'd try help us Americans and the economy but nope...they just want to screw people over. I hope it all comes back to the ones that are price gouging....should be against the law

That's amazing. What's been happening to people that put in their orders is that when the car arrives months later the dealership marks up the price...its not the price they agreed/signed upon. I dont see how they are legally able to do that but they are doing it.

i test drove one 2 days ago and you're right. the V6 is a fun car to drive. i'm sure the 400hp one is quicker, etc etc, but i can care less about bragging rights.

I got to see my friends's Inferno Orange Metallic SS last night for the first time. It was gorgeous. He paid MSRP for it.

He's already taken it to get window tint. When he went back to pick it up, the tint guy told him over a dozen people had stopped to take pictures of it!

That's how it was when I bought my 2005 Mustang in early 05... the shop parked it out front and people were pulling in all day to take pictures! Getting some of that with this car... I see a lot of people holding up their cell phones as I go by! LOL!

Having the dual stripes put on Monday and then the back three windows tinted on Tuesday... hmmm... guess I'll have to take more pictures! LOL

Congrats - hope you like it , no hope you love it.

I've been driving the V8 auto 400hp, Orange Metallic since February. It is just a fabulous car. It turns heads left and right. You'll see when you come out of a store and there's a couple of guys standing around it in the parking lot.

I've driven 9 of the 10 colours available, and not that the colour affects the ride, but that Victory Red you've got just feels faster !! It's my personal fave.

People are buzzing for this ride - the factory cancelled 1 week of the traditional two week shutdown in order to stay in production 5 days longer.
