Hey Guys!

This is my personal website and its the first time i have ever built a proper website. There are a few things i need to clear up first, like get a proper shopping cart system, i thinking of using photocart, i need to clean up some code that i may have repeated on the index page, even though its in the CSS and add a few more visually appealing photo's like on the services page and about me sort of thing, so it isn't so plain.

Please CC it, and don't hold back!
I appreciate it!!

It was nice to see that you have 'Title', 'Description' and 'Keywords" meta tags. Most don't. I would remove the word 'Home', but add something like this:

<title>Sidney NSW - Kory Leung Motorsport Photography</title>

Also, there's too much dead space above your footer, at least IMO.

I agree with the dead space comment ... try adding a banner/background just behind your menu items.

I really like the simplicity of the lay out. It works for me. Good job

In your services page, you have "I" lowercase.

Thanks for all the feedback guys! Really appreciate it as it is my first website build.

I was thinking of using a background image, but realized how hard it would be and how much Javascript i would have to use and resize the background image to all the resolutions of different monitors, which was a shame lol.

So you think a simple banner underneath my content before the footer would give it a little something more? Or you mean the nav bar? I like it how it is, but i'm always looking for new ideas!

And thankyou for letting me know, i used lowercase on the services page buckeye!

Many thanks,
Kory

Just to make sure, I'm not talking about the HEADER (the top banner/navagation text), I'm talking about the FOOTER, the bottom text/navagation...

I think there's too much room above the text. I'd also add about a 10-15px space below the navigation links.

Over-all, I like it though.

Ahhh ok i get ya! I will move the footer up and add some space after the nav menu.

Thankyou very much for the advice!!

I like that it doesnt have a cluttered background... nice work...

coupla things... when the page opens... at least on my screen when I link in - it comes up as a smaller box than my screen which is fine... but if i dont maximise the screen i get the top of the site and text and half an image....

it might be just me but on a photo based site i like to see an image first... even if it was "June 14, 2009 - wakefield park" then photo then write up....

or header it with "Latest photo shoots" - as its your home page it just kinda starts into what the latest event you shot at was.. which is good from a sales perspective because the buyers see their event when it pops up....

either that or you could have a smaller feed so that more events fit into the top... so as a viewer comes on from 3 events ago.. they still see their event on the front page....

only other thing is your business name font says "wedding photographer" and your photos say "mad car guy" (i dont mean literally)

ps... this is from a customer point of view... not a "i could do better" point of view... which i cannot...

One comment on the content...

Over here in the US, we refer to these events as either "Open Track" (driving but not in a race) or "Racing" (wheel to wheel racing, with race-prepared cars and licensed drivers). I don't know if it's the same there in AUS, but I would suspect it is. It is considered quite the newbie mistake to refer to an Open Track event as "Racing".

I like the photos and the nice clean site.

Thanks for all the feedback guys!

Super-Nicko: I understand what you mean, that the font in my web banner kind of shows a wedding photographers font instead of a motorsports photographer but i cannot find any nice fonts that i like (I'm super picky)!!! But thanks for the heads up on that.

Tracknut: All the events that are on the website besides the first (Toyota Motorkhana), require a CAMS licence to drive in, which is a racing licence. Although they are not racing, they are just trying to achieve the best time they can in there car/group/class but they don't actually win big prizes or anything. I will keep what you said in mind, thanks mate!

Thanks everyone for the feedback, i honestly wouldn't know if you didn't tell me, i appreciate it a lot!
