Hello everyone. :)
I will be up in Page, AZ on July 4th and while I was there figured I'd do the Antelope Canyon tour.
The question is, is which one to do? Upper or Lower?
Lower Canyon:
$50 for 2 hours
Guided Tour
Upper Canyon:
$26 for 4 hours
Non Guided Tour
I know that sounds like a no-brainer, but I'm interested more in the "quality" of the tours... ? I guess.
So, who here has done both tours, and which one do you think is the better of the two? Or would it really matter? Is Antelope Canyon, Antelope Canyon no matter where you go?
Thanks for all the help!! :)

the more expensive one goes to the navaho indian reserve, the otherone doesnt.
i did the 2 hour thing 3 weeks ago and it was well worth it, the guy showed us exactly from where to shoot, etc.
good stuff... take FAST glass and prepare to shoot at iso 800 or more, depending if you have IS or not.the 24-105L was my lens of choice btw...

Hmmm... one thing I'm worried about... is all the people. I figure, if it's a set tour (with tour guide and all) there would be more people? Right? Ooor, since the other one is half the price and not guided... there could be more people there. Such a dilemma!!
I don't like people. lol
Oh, and would I still have to worry about ISO 800 with a tripod?

you are shooting upwards 90% of the time and the guide makes sure everyone stands clear to make their shot without anyone in the way. The tripod is a good thing to have, exposure can then be as long as it suites you, without changing iso to anything above 100.
