What does it mean when Strobist says "zoom your flash to 85mm"? Can I zoom my 430EX II?
Thanks.

press the zoom button, (upper right) it will scroll through your choices.
You should read the manual, more than once if your like me,that way you will have a better understanding of it functionality.

If you have the flash on the camera acessory shoe, it will even zoom automatically.

"Zoom your flash" means the flash tube and reflector inside the flash head move forward and back, producing a wider or narrower beam of light. The "85mm" part means it will create a beam of light wide enough to cover the field of view of an 85mm lens on a full frame (35mm) camera.
