a carpet of bluebells under the gorgeous tall leafy green branches make the woods a magical place at this time of year

damian, I would have thought that you would prefer the red bells, and they must surely be ringing this morning!

Last weekend I went to North Wales to a blue bell wood that I remember being simply carpeted with blue. I really was ready for some great shots - got there and the farmer had pigs in the woods! Looked like someone had gone through with a vacuum cleaner and taken all the flowers out! :(

Very nice shots. They first one makes me want to jump into the photo and take a walk to see where the path goes. I can almost smell the flowers in the last shot. I think the most succesful photographs are those that can "take you away" from where you are and put you in the scene. Your Bluebells do this for me.

Its just me or #s 3 & 4 have a little too much contrast ? Composition is lovely in all of them but those two give me that feeling.

long flowing hair blowing in the wind
and she (seemly) floating through the bluebells.

thank you very much ajbalazic
there is no perfume from the bluebells.... as far as I know
but the smell of the wet leaves and from the wood in those lovely trees
and the sound of the birds singing to their heart's content (after the rain) was way out beautiful

the paths are wonderful

maybe
I wasn't real pleased with them myself.
kept looking before I posted them
they didn't seem as nice as I would have wished them to be
and how they really were in reality.
the heavy rainwater didn't help the bluebells appearance either
thanks Rob612
