very nice photoshop work, you did a really good job at "taking a few pounds off" ;) I'm trying to figure out what that black is under her arm on the right in the edited version, though....
this sort of thing is what a few of my female friends end up recruiting me for all the time.... editing pictures they take of each other, give them a slimmer look, bigger boobs, remove blemishes, whiten their teeth... :D
It's fun, though. Finally talked a couple into letting me actually take my own pictures to edit next weekend :)

can i ask how you achieved the more chiselled face look. was it just a colour correction effect or did you actually do something to the face..

looks to me like what she was was use the healing brush to reduce the bags under the eyes, and use the paintbrush to paint over the under side of her face, on her chin and such, to make it look tighter. then use the clone stamp to clone her hair so there isn't a void there, as well as using the paintbrush to slim down her cheek

its not me its my friend katrina.
how i did this:
FILTER > LIQUIFY > freeze mask (things you dont want to mess up ie: her eyes or nose) / pucker tool (things you want to make look 'pinched' ie: her fatty chin)
the black on the sides is from the pucker tool, it had no pixels to grab when it was being used, so it made it black :)
blemishes were corrected with patch tool. i dont use the clone tool ever. i didnt paint anywhere on her body. all i messed with was levels and contrast, oh and of course the colors. :)
oh yessss the reason i used liquify is because it usually doesnt throw away pixels, just throws them around and mixes them up. :p
