Does the background on this feel too busy to anyone?

really like the first on, can you mask out the stick in the bottom right. slightly distracting.
can be tough to get with dragonflies, but if you can look them in the face adds to the image. people connect with eyes, no matter what they are on.

The first one is my favorite as well :), I think the color of the dragonfly really pop on the rather plain background. This is going to sound like I'm a complete noob/idiot but I have no photoshop skills at all, haha. If you can explain how to do that I would be very happy. I have a Photoshop Elements 2.0. I know, I know, I really need to invest in some software but lately I've been investing in equipment, haha. I did try my best to use one point of focus and lock it on their heads.

So, is this good that no one else has left a comment, haha?

To photoshop that out you would be best to use the clone tool.
here is a tutorial (first one I found when googled.)

How does this look, be brutally honest. It's one of my first goes at this cloning thing, haha. I didn't even know I could do this in Photoshop 2.0.
