Like Ian, I went to my local marsh today, a place called Fort White Center. This is my shot notice the similarites, although I think I like Ian's better.

I think you both got wonderful captures.

Just looking at the head, is that a lesser? Great catch, love the mouth. I can just hear him saying "Hey!!"

Scotter... you give me hope that I'll eventually get a sharp picture from my 20D. Thanks.

Zach: I don't know if its a lesser or not I've tried to find out all the different subspecies, but still don't know.
Karen: You will get sharp pictures, just keep on taking them.

Some other people thought that this pic would look better with the reed removed what do you all think?

Yeah, better without the reed... Is that his tounge or is there a little fish on it?

Super shot, really and that's a great clean-up with the reed removal, it was the first and only distraction in the original. Well done both of you.
