When I shoot in RAW, my file formats come out in .CR2. Cool.

What does everyone suggest for batch processing of .cr2's to .jpg?

If I do a large shoot, I'd like to point something to a folder for input and folder for output, and hit the go button.

Thats a good start, and I can live with that.

However ;) If I can make a change to the images (apply a USM to the jpg while it's converting) that would just rule my world. And to just put me over the top, to convert from .cr2 to jpg with USM, and be able to control my resolution ( take a full raw image and take it down to 1024x768 lets say ) I would be an incredibly happy camper.

Reason for this is to automate an image workflow for uploadable images to my website. Gallery 2 has no idea what to do with .cr2 files.

Thanks in advance,

Chris Johnson

I'll take a wild guess that you are trying to use a Canon 20D. The Canon software that come with your camera will handle it.

Alternative: shoot RAW+JPEG, that's what I use. JPEG for quick wiewing/selection, RAW for the keepers.

i think most of the RAW converters are able to batch process. I usually like C1Pro. I've also used RSE for batch processing, I like the interface a lot, I only dislike the color accuracy
