So I want to make a little studio in my work warehouse for after work shoots ..
As of now I have 2 AB800 with Stands 1 Boom Arm a reflector 1 Giant Octabox and 1 Giant Softbox ..
I was thinking about getting 1 more AB1600 1 22inch reflector one arm for the reflector 1barn door and some backdrops ..
I was wondering if this is a good set up or do I need all this stuff?
Also where can I get good backdrops with stands (something portable that I can set up anywhere)? Hopefully for a good price ...
Thanks in advance ....

I just got done with this very thing.
I ended up getting the 99$ stand from B&H for my BG (backgrounds), they have great reviews.
As for the backgrounds themself, I got lucky and had a guy sell me two on here (blk and wht). I was going to buy some color ones, but I think I will just add the BG in PP.
They have a million different kinds of material they are made of, and the price range can go from 50$ all the way to 1000$ or more. You dont want to go to cheap as they will sometimes be see through.
You might also want to put in your budget a steamer for the wrinkles.
As for size, most will say get around 10x20, but this is up to whatever kind of space you will have to work with.

Have you looked into seamless papers? Savage brands are excellent and try start with Thunder Gray, you can light or gel it to get any color you want.

you have some examples? I'm going to try stands with paper .. I just think that way it will be more expensive than drops or am I wrong?

I'm wanting to get some good stuff, but of those that you list, a 10x20' plain white one ranges from $99-234!
The Denny ones are on sale right now, but that still puts it at $175.
Are the Denny ones significantly better than the other two companies?

I would opt for some grids. The grid pack is only $99 and well worth it. I wish I had a third light also...

Has anyone tried these "wrinkle-free" backdrops?

One thing I dislike about muslin are the wrinkles.
