so much nicer to shoot when I get my DRebel in the mail tomorrow. I plan on getting the Sigma 70-300 APO lens to start. Will be shooting mostly outdoor youth sports.

These two pics were taken with a Canon PowerShot S1 IS. I could not stand the EFV and slow AF so I returned it and ordered the 300D.

These were taken with Canon Powershot S1 IS


I used a Canon AE-1 with 80-200 lens for 20 years.
Also shot professional video for 10 years, so optical viewfinders are important to me, to really feel the focus.

The manual focus on the PS S1 is a joke.
