Image purists will dislike this. On the other hand techies (astronomy buffs in particular) and abstractionists may find this interesting.

Incredibly long exposure times (1-6 months)

Interesting - they used silver halide paper, but didn't develop it. I didn't know you could get an image without development.

"A regular photographic paper (which is generally used to make black-and-white pictures) without developing was used as a photosensitive material. Solar light was passing through small (approximatelly 1 mm diameter) hole in the can and falling directly on the paper, "burning" this un-fixed image which was digitally-scanned immediately after the end of exposition."
