After seeing a tutorial on strobists i had to have a go, how did I do?

I'd say you did amazingly well. Only thing I'd like is tighter shots of the crown drops. The split coloring on #2 is cool.

The first ones the winner IMO just need that little bit of centre drop bounce as well the 'crown' assuming thats possible ? ;)

These are great. I've experimented with water before but my attempts were futile. Do you have the link to the tutorial you're talking about?

Mike #1 and #6 are my favourites, I will have to give it a go once I have bought a tray.

I totally agree. The coloring on #2 was quite unique and amazing.
