3 exposures, 2 stop bracketing with my xti and sigma 18-50 2.8, tripod, and awesome location (Las Penitas, Nicaragua).

I like it. I wish there was more light in the sunset.

Yea, it was a bit of a let down that night. Every other time i've been without an SLR or a tripod, the sunset has been out of this world.

seems a bit dark, and there is some haloing around the building
also seems a bit flat

I like the darkness personally, but how would I address the haloing?

It is nice, but I see the haloing too. Did you use Photomatix?

Yep, used Photmatix, but being completely honest, I left it all on default settings.

In the newest version of Photomatix, once you are into the Tone Mapping section, with all the sliders, the Light Smoothing Radio buttons is the easiest way to reduce haloing. The higher the number, the less halo. 5 should clear them up altogether.

I like the shot! It seems a little bit flat though, a little contrast boost maybe?
Probably way over done, but something quick just like this seems to me to give it a little more 'oomph'.
