Caught this pair of Top Aces Alpha jets departing Ottawa International (YOW) yesterday - it's the first time I've seen them, but 414 (EW) Sqdn. will be based at Ottawa. The aircraft are privately owned by Top Aces, hence the registration letters, and they are used for training CAF military personnel.

Good find, but why only two shots of them?

. . . 'cause that's about all you can post Frank, according to the P.O.T.N. rules !
I think I blew about twenty or so, while they were in the holding bay awaiting clearance, so the shots are all very similar.

I thought the rules said we could post 8?

if imbedded, yes.
If attached - 2 - unless the unruly crowds are clamouring for more - in which case it is OK to post a couple more providing it doesn't get excessive.

Interesting concept - CAF being trained by a private outfit. Cool idea - and I like the colour schemes on those planes.

Probably a win/win situation John - apparently 'Top Aces' was founded by three exCAF CF-18 pilots and the Canadian Government opted to contract CAF training - no doubt due to budget constraints.
. . . they sure are neat looking little aircraft !

Be sure to set the image size parameters: Before uploading your images to your Photobucket account, choose either a
display or file size that is equal to or larger than that of your images. You
can do this by clicking on the 'Uploading Options' link in your upload panel
and then on the radio button next to your preferred size. If an option is
greyed out, this means the option is not available for your Photobucket
account type. Selecting a size larger than your images will prevent further
resizing upon upload and help expedite the upload process. To make the changes
permanent, you must upload at least one image from the upload panel. This is
important for Pro users using FTP or anyone using the Windows XP Publisher. If
you choose to use the file size options, the file size of the original image
will take precedence over the the display size and any display size is
accepted as long as the file size is less than your choice in the 'Uploading
Options'.
I always click on the image to get the 100% size that I've uploaded, & then use that URL for display.
