need some inspiration - bride hotel pics.

Covering a wedding next week and the bride is getting ready in the hotel room were they are getting married, all my previous weddings have been from the brides home with a lot of people about, but this one is just the bride and her sister....looking for some stylish examples and inspiration for shots from inside the room...there is no balcony its a plain hotel room with a bed, bathroom and dressing table etc....

Focus in on details...... finishing nails, making up hair, applying lipstick, lacing up the dress; you may also want to arrange some "still lifes" with various wedding day objects. - Stu

Thanks Stu, yeah this is normally what i would do anyway with regard to the details, mainly looking for some angles and ideas on posing the bride within the room, use the bed or not..? some examples would be great. thanks

You're welcome - bascially this is the time when you can have some potentially cute and poignant shots: little sisters or nieces coming in to see how beautiful the bride is, mom's admiring eyes, dad's impressions of his beautiful young daughter. It's just a matter of being alert, in a semi-PJ sort of mode for great timing and emotional shots.

My pals over at Tricoast (http://tricoastphoto.com/new_site/flash/) are incredible for inspiration with this stuff. They've got bridals in hotels on LOCK! Check 'em out for all the inspiration you need :) Their site might not have as many, but they've posted a ton of stuff here in the forums over the years that should totally help you out ;)
