question about sports images...

Hello all, i am new to the forums as well as getting more into photography. I have a question in regards to pictures taken as professional sporting events such as NFL or MLB games. If you are a fan, and are just at the game. You bring your image capturing device of choice and take some great shots, are you able to sell them, or is permission needed by the league / team? Not there yet, but I figured I would ask the experts.

No you cannot sell them, there maybe some exceptions for news papers and other news outlets

You cannot sell them, you have to be credentialed to even use it as editorial (as my understanding). But i know for a fact you cannot sell them due to licensing, copyrights, yada yads
