Hello,

My mother-in-law owns a motel up near Yellowstone in Wyoming; she has one of those postcard racks in her lobby. I have always wanted for my photography hobby to pay for itself and was thinking that maybe I could make some of my best Yellowstone images into postcards to sell in her lobby. Is there a postcard blank that I can just print my images on with my Epson R1900? I am also thinking that maybe a nice matted/framed 12x18 print of Yellowstone falls might sell in her lobby. What do you guys think?

If you search around on google, you can find some great companies that specialize in the design of postcards for hecka cheap.

I don't think your ROI (rate on investment) would be very high if you were to do it yourself on the 1900; as good a printer as it is for prints..there are some companies out there that handle your printing, your ink, your message and template, card layout, packaging, envelopes all for under a buck when you buy in bulk.

Try searching around your area (Nevada is a big place) for commercial printing agencies that will do that service.

Here's one that rings a bell: www.5000cards.com

Check out Photographer's Edge (http://www.photographersedge.com/)

I can't remember if they do postcards or not, I know they do greeting cards though.
