I hope you like these as they are some of the very few that I managed to get. I was trying desperately to get "Prop blur" and sort of succeeded. PhotosGuy normally posts up a thing about prop blur and it would be appreciated if he could do it again please.

Yeah, that looks like the right amount of prop blur. The other thing to consider, and this may be more difficult, is getting the right angle on the shot so the light bounces off the prop to highlight it. That makes truly nice prop shots.

Yeah, I hear ya. There's not a whole lot you can do about it anyway. Depending on your location at an airshow and the pattern the planes are flying, you may or may not get good light on the props. Mostly a matter of luck.

nice pictures, however on the Vulcan i can see some halo'ing around the front end of it, how did you sharpen i?

It more looks like misuse of the Shadow/Highlight tool. Actually, any use of that tool is misuse! You shouldn't need to adjust anything other than Levels to get your image balanced as long as the exposure is reasonable in the first place. If the histogram shows the odd hot pixel then gentle use of the Burn tool will result in a much better final image than using the Shadow/Highlight tool. It is to be avoided at all costs! :lol:
