Shot about eight matches on April 22nd, starting with two young ladies boxing for PAL teams and running right up to two ShoBox televised fights. The casino likes the collage presentation so I generally do it for all their events. This was only my second fight, but I have shot both next to world famous boxing photographer Tom Casino, who convinced me I needed Canon equipment! Anyone with suggestions, criticism, ideas or questions please feel free.

pictures are good.. but from an advertising point of view...
1. their logo is barely distinguishable (maybee overlay a "black to transparent" linear gradient from the bottom right corner, under the logo and on top of all the pics
2. The text that notates you as the photographer, looks cheezy, un readable, and a bit too unporofessional. I sugest working with that section aLOT more...
The pics on the otherhand IMO are GREAT!!! BTW how is your adjust ment from fuji to canon?

The whole concept is a little too cluttered for my liking... I can see that you've highlighted some images in the centre of the collage with coloured borders but they are lost in the general 'chaos' of the larger 'image'. I also agree with kawter2 that the text is tricky to read against the background.
I'd really like to see some of your images in isolation. I think they'd be more powerful viewed individually rather than lost amongst numerous other pics. There are clearly some top quality pics there.
I've only recently started to shoot boxing as well, so I am by no means an expert! Take what I say with a pinch of salt!

Kawter, yes, I agree. I am currently working with a graphic artist on a logo for me. My name running down the side looks much better on the prints, but again I agree that it not professional in the sense that it is not what everyone else does. The collages are not for advertising but rather for the management staff to put on their walls and your suggestion for their logo is well taken. I guess I was taking the easy way out to post this rather than creating a display on my website from which I could link here ... Thank you for your input.
Gmen, yes it is cluttered but I do the collages largely because they get all the images, full size and mid sized on a CD and this is a way for them to preview many of them. They have a gal with an Epson 7600 printer who can print off the individual images. Again the 11x17" size makes them a bit less cluttered and the "bordered" images in the center show a little better.
I thank you both for your input. I can see that I've gotta make the time to upload individual images ... I have software that should make that fairly easy if I learn how to use it, such as Flash MX 2004 Professional. So much to do, so little time.
As for my conversion to Canon ... well, I'm no longer "converting" but "adding". The two systems are different, like shooting with different film. Of course, the Canon cannot be touched by the Fuji for this type of work, although I am contemplating getting a D2X to use with my Nikon glass. However, I don't think I will be buying anything but Canon lenses, will eventually get a 1Ds Mark II for a second Canon body and I suppose eventually "convert", but not for a couple of years.

Eric, there is no .psd! :) While I have the whole Adobe Creative Suite including PS CS I normally use Ulead's PhotoImpact (under $100 USD) as I have used it for years. I could save it as .psd, but it would be quite large as it intended to print 11x17" at about 360 ppi ... the one that is linked to this post at 1000 pixels on the long side is about 390K and is not PSDable. If you go to my website at http://www.DwightMcCann.com and click the Chumash link there is another collage from my first boxing match shoot a couple of months ago ... that one was shot with my Fuji.
