How newbie-ish does it make me to post announcing the arrival of my first ever, bouncing, baby "L" lens? I am the proud father of a 70-200 F/4 L.

Oh weLL, screw it, I am posting anyway.

I mean, come on! I come in here, cLueLess about DigitaL SLRs, see aLL the pictures you people post, read about the fantastic gear you have and, I freeLy admit it, I got a bad case of Lens envy.

Ok, so it is not some super-nifty, cost-more-than-my-Corvette super-Lens, but it is my first and I am practically... (dare I say it?) Giddy with excitement.

FLame away, shutterbugs, it wiLL not affect me today! :p

Of course I immediately took some tesl shots... grass, trees, the neighbor's dog, the neighbor (80's, bermuda shorts, black socks... my eyes still hurt) but nothing worth posting.

Tomorrow, however, is another story. :D:D
