One of my absolute all time favorites! I remember in the early/mid 1980'ss when gas guzzlers were being dumped left and right cheap. I test drove a run down one that had a price tag of only $700.00 !!

Cool. I drive a '67 (http://www.grant.gb.com/charger/) you should try paying gas prices over here, it cost me $1 a mile!

Oh yeah.. the '67 (and '66? right?) had that totally different classy stylish look to them.. amazing looking cars. Chrysler was Soooooooooooooo freakin' cool back then. I think it all started in '57 with the 300C and just got better and better.

Now that's what I call using Photoshop to the fullest. This is a car shot I seen hundreds of times and you've made it a memorable one. I'm impressed.

This is "SWEET!" A Friend had a Blue 69 Charger SE equipped with the 440 Magnum that we actually went on a road trip with (gas was cheap back then).
I drove it from Vegas to LA. and I DO remember that car could really move.
Thanks for the memories. :D

Thanks guys
As for how I did it well it's all a blur.......well lot's of blurs actually
I first got levels and things how I wanted them, made a new layer by cutting out the car, then made another layer with just the wheels and tyres. Then I first burred the background with a radial blur (zoom) off to one side to give some perspective blur, then used a motion blur on top of that to give this even more as I wanted a strong effect. Then I used a radial blur (spin) in the middle of the wheels to give them some motion, then used the blur tool to add motion to the tyres. I cloned in the shadow of a driver as the car was empty and I think that was about it! :)

Hi Grant, In THIS photo the car looks like it could be a Charger R/T, is it?
It seems to have some of the correct markings, as well as the set of Magnum 500 wheels. :D

Hi Bruce,
No it's not an R/T, it was originally a 383 but Derek who owns it has changed the wheels and also dropped in a 440 for good measure :)
BTW Vegas is my favourite place in the world, I'm coming over in a couple of weeks and will be at the Nellis Airforce base car show, I'm meeting up with the Mopars of Las Vegas car club :)

Ah, It's an R/T CLONE then. I'm sure it's fun to drive. :D

Nice car, and great work! :) My friend just sold his '68, but he also has a '70. I love those Chargers and the Challengers. I'd hate to have to choose a favorite. :p
