I just upgraded to ZoomBrowserEx 5.0 from 4.0. In 4.0 you could set up the software to acquire images & place them in a folder by date of download. It was also easy to find the place to configure this setting.

In 5.0, Preferences doesn't seem to have this setting. How do you configure the software so it doesn't acquire images & place them in folders according to the date of shooting? Pls. don't tell me there's no way to change the default because I hate having the software create 18 folders every time I acquire images from my camera.

It's there. When you open ZB 5 click the "acquire & camera settings" button (on the left side), then there should be a preferences button soon after that.

That's it. No other acquire/preferences options.

Ok, now that I read again what you're wanting to do. Are you using a card reader or just a USB cable to your camera? If you have a card reader, just access your CF card as a hard drive and go and copy and paste your images from your CF to a place on your hard drive. Basically don't let zoom browser download your images. Do it manually.
