Beautiful flower, altought not in the best position.

Also try to edit it in photoshop or similar to light more the center. Or repeat this shot having the sun in different position :)

I think by not in the best position you are referring to the rule of thirds, what I'm wondering is since I am very new to photography how on a closeup such as this would you apply the rule and also I am not very good in Photoshop If you would like to touch it up a bit in the center as you said I would be more than happy to look at the result Thanks for your comment though
