Anyone have Tiger and having trouble with the software? I am unable to download my pics through the software. It worked fine with Panther. I did a clean install. Any ideas? I tried intalling twice. Thanks!!

I did repair, no luck. I called Canon, they haven't heard of anything but then again they didn't know what "Tiger" was. Was just wondering if I was alone on this. Thanks

I know this is not going to be the help you want, but get a card reader. Its really better. YOu wont have your can sitting on your desk eating battery life and no chance of knocking it off. I am a mac man, not tiger, but my life is much better with a reader. They are cheap and usb 2.0 is pretty darn quick. Good luck!

I'm on Panther and I've never been able to use the EOS Capture app. The app begins to start up and then it just quits with no error messages or anything.
That's why I use Capture One. Which by the way, I love. :)

yeah, you guys aren't the 1st to tell me to get a card reader.I guess I should. Is it really faster than the camera as far as importing? Thanks!!
ps what is capture 1?

Been using digital cameras of all sorts for 4.5 years and Macs for 19 years and never installed the software that came with the camera. I bought a card reader for my desktop Mac and a PCMCIA-card adapter for the Powerbook. Then *I* make the decisions of where I want the pics, in which software I want to open them, etc. Now the Camera Raw 3.1 and the new DNG Converter is out, I can work in Photoshop CS again. :)

PS. If your Mac has USB 2, then it'd be the same speed. But if you have only USB 1.1 you should get a Firewire card reader, that'll make a huge difference in transfer speeds. The card reader saves your battery on the camera, and it also lets you use the camera while the pics are downloading.
