Hi there,
Wondering if anyone can help me. I'm having a problem with my Lastolite Lumen8 400w heads not all firing at once. They're only a couple of metres apart, and they're all set to remote, and I'm plugged into the key light via cable to my camera.
It seems to be worst when the lights are set very low, when I'm doing headshots, as I'm going for 2.8 and a really shallow depth of field. Sometimes they don't fire, but I give the cable a little twist and they do fire. I can't see it being a problem with the cables as it happens no matter which cable I try. Sometimes they work if I plug the camera into a different light, but it's still hit and miss.
I know there are more expensive remote systems that can be used, but I can't believe that I should be having problems syncing them when they're all so close together. It's only for headshots I need to go down to f2.8, and the lights are so close togther I can't accept that they shouldn't sync properly.
Anyone know what's wrong?
Thanks
