I snapped quite few pics this morning out in the park with my staffie pup, The following are the best ones (well to me anyway) Bearing in mind I have only had my camera for about 2 weeks I would appreciate any C&C to help me improve

I like #4 best. (it could be titled "Mighty Puppy!!" LOL .. cute!) but it would be better if his back feet weren't cut off. You'll learn to 'see' everything in the frame as time goes on.
When I first started shooting digital, the default focusing was making me crazy.. so I switched to spot focus & like the results better. (but everyone does things their own way.. I mostly photograph animals so I have no idea what 'nature' or 'city' photographers prefer).
Also, try taking more shots down at the dog's eyelevel when possible. .. see if you like that perspective better. MHO is that it gives the images less of a 'snapshot' look. Try to focus on his eyes for portrait shots. You've got a good start though.. and a Really cute pup!

Thanks for that much appriciated, Is this one better with the paws in, the focus looks a but more on the back than the face on this one to me, plus it dosn't seem to have the same amount of attitude in my opinion
