#1 seems to have the ship dominating the image. A bit distracting for a wedding shot. #2 is great. Very creative way to make the man taller than the woman without it being obvious.

I agree about the ship part. I feel that the color of the ship is too close to the color of the bride's skin...and that makes me pay less attention to the couple. I also feel that the groom's pose in photo #1 is a little awkward. I do really like the second shot, except that the street on the left side of the photo is distracting. It may do well to crop it out.;)
