I'm planning on having the following 3 lenses being pretty much it for a good while, eventually going to sell my 300D with the kit lens to my dad, at which point I'll get a 20D, anyway, the lenses are:
70-200L 2.8 IS
24-70L 2.8
10-22 EFS
Just curious as to what you all think.

Why no primes?

IMO they're a really good selection. Possibly add an extender if you want to photograph wildlife?

The first two are excellent lenses, the Tamron 28-75's an option for the 2nd. No idea about wide lenses. Looks like you have the 85 1.8 which is a good low light lens, unless you want to take photos in the dark, then you'll want an F0.8 lens ;)

Actually I didn't mention it but I do have the 1.4TC, and the 85 prime in my sig. No primes because most everything I do is kind of on-the-spot, so I like to have the versatility of zooms, and I like to travel compact (size is usually more important than weight), so having 3 lenses covering 10-200(280 with the TC). Someday I want a 100-400 and, depending on what I might end up doing long-term, some primes, but for the forseeable future, I think these 3 will cover what I need.

I think that is a nice and well rounded selection.
I would need more length, but I'd be happy otherwise. Anythink else is just tinkering at the edges. Enjoy :D

I think my setup will end up being Tokina 12-24/4, Tamron 28-75/2.8, and Canon 70-200/4L

It's pretty much perfect!
If you ever need longer...
Some day add the 100-400mmL IS and you done with zooms :)

I do agree, too. Excellent selection/mix. ;)

Looks like a very fine selection.
Still, there is no thing like a 'final' lens selection
Best regards,

You won't be able to use the ef-s lens until you upgrade your camera.
The 70-200 IS F2.8 is quite an extravagence unless you need those features. The 24-70 is another very expensive lens that could be replaced by the 50 1.8 or 1.4 if that is not your preferred shooting range. The 10-22 efs is very wide and perhaps specialist unless again, it is your preferred range.
It may be better to find out where your photographic preferences lie before buying the most expensive of all ranges.
Take no notice of me, I'm stuck with a budget!

Both the 300D, which he has now, and the 20D, which he's planning on, take EF-S lenses.

Apologies for the misinformation. I misguidedly assumed the 300 and 10d didn't take the ef-s lenses and the 20d and 350 did.
Sorry.

Half right. Everything from the 300D/DR on has accepted EF-S. It's those of us with the 10D or earlier models that are restricted to the EF mounts (or with larger sensors).
