Hello,

I am new to this forum, and I have a question about photographing for 360 degree views of objects.
Does anyone have experience photographing tires, specifically?
I need to have a tire (and wheel) rotate, possibly suspended in air, as I snap several photos while the tire turns. I have no idea how to make the tire rotate without obstructing the camera's view of the tire. Anyone have a suggestion?
I have thought of hanging the tire by fishing line from the ceiling, but I'm looking for other options first.

Thanks!

360 degrees of horizontal rotation, or of rotation about the tire's axis? In other words, assuming the tire is in a "normal" tire position, do you want to snap a series of pics of the tire, from a side view, tread crown, tread, crown, side, etc. as it is rotated about a vertical axis, or from a specific perspective as it rotates about a horizontal axis, as if mounted on a wheel and spinning (letters and tread going around the center)?
