Nick and Nicky are two ex-colleagues of mine who asked if I would take some fun/engagement shots for them. The day was fun to shoot, and any C&C would be taken on board to further my learning!

Cheers,

I dont think the grain in the first one works
And your border/fake shallow dof is annoying.

They look really comfortable and that's the main thing. Post processing wise I'd agree with zelzeman. Sometimes less is more, but I know clients love those kind of effects...:) Ditch the borders and fake blur, maybe try a different crop in #1 (portrait if you still have the original) and you'll have 2 great photos.

Hi Svetlana,
Many thanks for your comments....
Post-processing is my weakness, and probably the first time i've applied such drastic measures!!

I will try the potrait crop of pic 1, and take your advice on board!

Many thanks,
Mav

I really like the first one, they look so natural and happy, the second one maybe next time have her open her stance a bit more so she doesn't look so stiff and straight.

I agree with the post op work, sometimes less is more. Once Post processing is no longer your weakness you can do more and more and no one will notice.

Do you have more form this session to share?

Thanks Jolene for your comments...

I do have more from the session, but they have the annoying background etc!! I will post some up this evening when I get home from work!

Thanks again,
