Fantastic shot!

A bit too dark for my liking, would of been nice to see the engine a bit more.

Great capture! This would have been a great HDR image, but I would imagine the circumstances would not allow for a tripod.

Thanks guys!

Great capture! This would have been a great HDR image, but I would imagine the circumstances would not allow for a tripod.

Actually, they did... as I am the airline's photographer I did what I wanted to do, but I didn't have my tripod with me as the ceremony was supposed to end way before sunset but our President likes arriving VERY late to EVERY event she attends.

In fact, for the second ceremony which was programmed two weeks after the first one and two hours later I carried my tripod with me, but the President arrived late AGAIN and I wasted the sunset waiting for her in my shooting position. Although when everything finished I managed to get some night shots!

PS: I added a second picture, you might like that one better guys, it is shot on the plane you see on the right in the first picture.

Too bad about the missed shots, but I bet the night photos are cool. BTW I like the second shot a lot as well. Also your work on Anet is very good - I am a big fan of that site as well. I wonder how many other photographers are on both sites.

The 1st one does it for me, a touch of flash from below right might have worked as a fill in? (thats not from experience, just a thought)

Thank you! I'm glad you liked my work! You may see one of the night shots in A.Net, because the ones with the full plane won't be accepted due to stairs in both of the doors.

Didn't have anything but pop-up flash at the moment! I bought my 430EX II yesterday and I still have nothing to trigger it wirelessly!

Aha - future possibilities! Wireless triggering is next on my list too.
