Did you have special access to any areas or were these taken from public access areas ?

Alan:
Nice action, very nice action. I can see that #8 is being driven by a wild man.

Glenn:
I used to hate it when work interfered with my social life. ;-)

No these were ALL taken from where you are aloud to spectate.BUT.....

Those peskey press-photographers were ALLWAYS getting in the way of us spectaters.

Thanks for the comments.

Great shots there Alan

The TEG's were fantastic, I had to watch the racing on TV last week, :(

Tom's Civic was going the business in the first race until his tyre blew out :(

I'm looking forward to the next rounds. :D

Ah well, you've got to remember they're there to do a job. In most cases they try and keep out of the public's way as much as possible. Not always, I've had trouble with one particular lady photographer in the past who was behaving unreasonably - some with long memories will remember the post I did on here about it. Normally the pros are pretty considerate though. At this very meeting, for example, one of the pros who I see from time to time round the circuits came over for a chat before the day kicked off and then went to remind his mates to try and keep out of our shots...

Fantastic photos, would've been great to have caught Yvan Muller's spectacular four wheel drift save.
