I don't know about the others here but 1 or 2 really good ones out of 20 would not be bad by my reckoning. Now if only 2 turned out at all that might be a problem.

The strawberries look good, both photographically and gastronomically speaking.

yeah, the first few i took i used my 50mm f1.8 and they were actually too sharp and looked kinda gross with all the hairs showing on the berry...so i brought out my promaster 28-105 and took some and they were a bit softer (maybe there is a photoshop trick to make it soft but blurring didn't look natural)...then i experimented with some lighting by using a sheet of paper to soften the light...this one you can see the light is way too harsh even with a lot of processing..there just doesn't seem to be anything to do:
