Not sure if I prefer the one above more or this one below. Like the purple in the one below.

whoa very artistic and i like the composition! What type of post processing did you use to achieve the dull colors in #1? Very nice work!

Thanks for the comments. As for the processing, its all done in adobe raw convertor.
I boost the contrast to full, then reduce the saturation. Then add some lens vignetting and then adjust exposure accordingly. When this is done I boost the white balance to give a warmer look, then add some shadows.

Doing this in raw is great as the quality is maximised when shooting RAW. I always shoot RAW!

Excellent shots! I love the compostion and the sharpness. The pics have a raw quality, nor surprising since they were processed in Adobe Raw converter. hehe.

Cool !! Thanks, that is the look I have been trying to get so thanks for the processing info. I shot alot of motocross, and that will look killer if I can dupicate it.

Now when you say Adobe raw convertor, is that the same as opening it up in the raw section of Photoshop CS ????

Color is very nice. Composition and cropping are excellent. I like the pictures and I don't even like skateboards...

I don't know why, but the have a lonliness about them.

Great shots and post process. I visited a skate park the other day for the first time (not too many good skaters around though) and you've inspired me to play around with one of my shots. It wasn't in RAW, so I just had to use some hue/saturation/noise and layer masking. Now I don't know which I like.

All great, but I think #5002 is my favorite. I think it captures something about teen angst /alienation / vulnerability very effectively.

These are some of the best I've seen here. You have great talent. Composition especially. You can't teach what you've shown here... it comes naturally. Great work on the post processing too. I've bookmarked this thread so I can refer to it later when I try to get this effect.

Absoloute quality. Well done. Just goes to show, you can have all the mk2's and L lenses coming out your ears, but you can't buy talent. Well done.
I'm insanely jealous.
