When I heard that Manny was going to be playing some Single A ball here in So Cal, I jumped online and got my tickets. Front-Row, between Home and 1st base, Sell Out crowd... all waiting to see Manny hit! Sadly, he went 1 walk and 2 strikeouts. Never the less this was an awesome event and I had a great time raiding a minor league field with my camera and a ton of Dodger fans!

The place went nuts when he hit the field!

I don't think that a 50 game suspension is quite "turning their heads". Just like any other types of cheating, there are rules... you break them... you suffer the consequences. Whether it's an illegal curved hockey stick, a corked bat, whiping a hit in tournament paintball, pinetar or spit on a ball, or too much vaseline on a fighter... there are a million ways to cheat in sports.

Yeah, you're right about the 50 game suspension.
Maybe I should direct my anger at the PRESS for treating him like he did nothing wrong and saying stupid stuff like "THAT'S MANNY BEING MANNY"
Well Manny is a cheat!
Just like A-Rod, Sosa, McGuire,Clemens and all the others who are juicing.

Baseball knew about these people but chose to look the other way and the press treat them like superstars!
Well they could've been but they CHEATED!

A suspension means NO BASEBALL at all. The minor leagues supposedly started anti drug policies before the majors so he should not have been playing minor league ball at all. He should have taken the suspension like a man and found other ways to stay in shape. I blame the commissioner for not holding him to the suspension "fully". If he needed to stay in shape, he had batting cages and gym facilities available to him.

LA can have him. I can't wait to watch him self-destruct, and pull his team down with him. Oh ya, nice shots, considering.

Good shots.

I agree completely.

I highly doubt that Manny will self destruct, and I doubt that one of the best coaches in the history of baseball will allow a player to pull his team down with him. I think that the Dodgers have been able to prove that it's not "MANNY's Team" over the last 50 games. I'm still laughing at that comment. I appreciate your opinion and thank you for the compliments on my photos.

He's going to come back from a suspension tomorrow night to a HUGE Dodger crowd in San Diego and will face a fair share of cheers and boos. I just love that the entire 90's were plagued with MONSTER batters, all on roids, and no-one was as loved or hated after being ousted. Manny is either embraced or completely hated. No middle ground. If anything, I was stoked to see him get suspended! And I'm a DIE HARD Dodger fan, since birth! Manny's suspension, proved to all the Dodger haters that the team still had it without Manny. Now there's no question that Manny is clean since he'll forever be under scrutiny from the league. So let's see what happens. He comes back and continues to drop balls into the cheap seats... then we'll know if it was the roids. My honest opinion is that his use wasn't what got him where he is. I believe that he must have felt enough pressure to keep performing at the level that he's at. That's why he's always passed every test until this one. Now, his stupid mistake/decision is over... and we'll see what the future holds.
