These are all great. The dress hanging from the deer is pretty unique and the other images are just exceptionally executed.
You might even be able to sell 7B to Levi's if the B&G are willing.

I am normally not drawn to the country theme anything - but these are just amazing and they all look like professional models despite obviously not being so. Great ideas for posing and wonderful captures. I actually really liked the one on your blog of the bride getting dressed with the straps being pulled back. Cool angle.
The only thing I question is the amount of PP you do to their skin - not only the brides, but the men as well. A lot of your images have extreme skin smoothing to the point it looks plastic. Some of them seem to have that PP applied to the whole image as well, smoothing out the men's suits and some plant life. I just wondered if this was something all your clients liked or that they requested. I ask because it seems like that would be overdoing it - more work for you - and most people seem to not like that much over processing.

Thanks everyone!
Nicole, I think it is just the web compression as I guarantee you that the prints do not look plastic.

I love this ranch wedding series. I'm not sure which one I like best? The girls on the swings, or the wedding party with the old truck. Great job! Peter

I just love theme weddings. These are really great. I love the first one with the country feel. I especially wonder how you got the dress up there. :) And the group shot is really terrific. Sometimes, an old truck is just what you need. :)

Looks like a fun wedding to shoot! The photos are excellent, specifically IMHO the one with the bridesmaids on the swing-set. Bravo!

I would try to look out and make sure whatever is behind the subject doesn't blend in with their hair, like her blonde hair does in the truck shot. Otherwise I am not a big fan of extreme skin smoothing, but they are all good shots and probably better than I do myself.

Sweet photos. I'm loving the one with the swings. I also like the processing style a lot; it goes well with the ranch setting.

Okay, I came back and looked at these twice now. I have to ask.. Did you use flash on these outdoor images or was it all available light? If flash, it would be cool for others to see/hear how it was lit. :)
Again I must comment.. LOVE the one with the bridesmaids on the swingset. :)

You got that right. I'd like to know how many weddings done in Texas are actually in jeans and a cowboy boots and hats. I'd be willing to say at least 40-50% each year. (remember, not all weddings are done in the cities, and consider that 95% of Texas is rural communities)
I love them all, and you expressed the Texas nature well. One of these days I need to tag along with you just to watch you work. I can be your drink boy, and just run and get you drinks when you get thirsty :)

Judging by the catch lights in the eyes, I'd say the majority of them was done with flash.

+1 to BBD.....
This not so much a theme as a way of life in Texas.... not every where - but not unusual at all.
Great stuff KJ Image.....

one thing i keep wondering....did you shoot those group shots in one exposure- or did you photoshop each couple of people in at a time?

These are beautiful! I am in love with these. What a gorgeous bride! Wow.. I love the Swings, the truck, and the walking kiss. Actually..I love them all!! haha..
Great work. Oh and I was thinking the same thing with the retouching..but I know how compression does things. So no worries here:)

I really really like the picture with the swings. The truck picture is awesome as well. I'm guessing the bridesmaid on the far right in the swing picture is the bride's sister? Gorgeous!

I haven't replied to alot of threads on POTN but I have to say, I love this set. I look at alot of wedding threads as it's what I would aspire to do and this one just stood out! Very well done. (I also wish I lived somewhere like that).

Some answers to your questions...
Trish, swing shot was shot on 1 exposure. When shooting weddings, I have to be quick and know what I want to do as they were all ready to go party! =)
Yes, web compression make the photos look a bit smoother, but I guarantee you the prints are fine.
Mike, I would normally have used my Profoto Acute B, but I did not have it that day and had to suffice with an off camera Vivitar. It was a bit harsher than I would like, but it worked in a pinch!
Thanks!
