ONE sport/action photographer needed for UK Ironman in Bolton 02/08

We are in need of one more shooter to join our team to cover the UK Ironman race on 2nd August in Bolton.

It is a PAID assignment, and you will be working with a group of seasoned shooters, everyone will help you go through this like a smooth sailing.

We're looking for someone who lives LOCALLY, able to join us early morning (5am or ealier) for briefing.

We need a hard working individual, with good understanding of light and preferably experienced in sports photography, snappy shutter finger (we want sniper, not machine gunner) and a good eye for composition. You'll be stationed at different part of the race course and you will be likely to improvise on the spot on how to frame shots with clean/signature/landmark background, to make the most out of available light. The last but not the least, you must love what you do.

This is the 4th year we cover this race, it will be hard work, also great fun, pints will be on the house after ;)

Unfortunately I'm after a little bit more passion and initiative in candidates.

You're looking at one day's work with £200 + in your pocket plus future earning potentials throughout Europe and the US. I'm afraid a mere "interested in doing this" isn't going to cut it.

If you're truly willing, I would expect to see at least some info about you as a person, past experience as a photographer, and a nice portfolio to convince us to take you on board.

Heya, How are things going, id be interested in doing this as we close down a lot of business during summer because of the heat. Soccer and Golf wont kick of again until Fall. please nose around on my web to see if you like it. If yo dodo... please let me know as I have to make my way there.... Im based in the south of Spain but dont mind travelling on dates that I do not have booked however if you could consider an extra 50-100 euros id be more than game... Take care!!

Unfortunately we are on the limited budget, if we can save on overheads, then everyone would get paid more!

Since this is the new location for the race (moved from Sherborne last year), we are looking for local shooters who knows the area well, so we can maximise local knowledge in scouting for vantage points. Better background = better sales :)

We do however, cover many races in Europe such as Barcelona marathon, Paris marathon, Ironman Switzerland, Ironman Austria, Frankfurt marathon etc. I will pass on your profile to the company headquarters, and you should hear from them should they need your service.

Thanks a lot! However since opening a local business and not just relying on agency work im quite bogged down, but please let them know that im interested as long as im told atleast 48 hours before .... - i know the spanish all to well.... :) Take care and good luck - im sure youll find a shooter!!
