Just recieved a Crumpler Next Venue- very happy with the look, feel, and design!

How do you guys rest the camera in your bag for maximium safety. But also to be able to get it out with ease.

Is there a "bad way" to have your camera rest inside a bag that may damage it?
I would like to have the 17-40 on for now.

Thanks for the info.

Its a solid bag, just make sure the camera isn't bumping against anything and its fine. As for easy access, thats up to you and what you find easy.

I have posted photos of how I set up my "Next Venue" here (http://photography-on-the.net/forum/showthread.php?t=68609).

The only thing I would warn you about is placing things on top of the main (top compartment) under the flap without connecting the clips on the front. The velcro patches on the front are not sufficient to hold stuff...for example a 420ex flash (an expensive lesson!).

I hope this helps.
