Hi! I recently took pictures of my sister and her fiancee. I am new at this and the PP is done with Lightroom. I would like to print out and give it to her as a gift . Please CC and help me pick!

I am bumping this up.3 weeks ago and I can't believe no one has at least given this series any comment.
In this series I like #4 and #5 but would love to see the colour versions. # 4 adjust the shadows and highlights to try and retrieve some of the sky back or crop it down a bit.

The others all seem too washed out or the angles just don't click for me.

four would be my preference here... but I might crop it so they fill more of the frame...

Wonderful MechE #2,4,6 i would print for her. the poses are good and the smiles adds a flair to the pics. #6 i would blow up to 8X10 and frame it for your sister. continue the good work MechE. Frame #2 in landscape 4X6. love them all :)

for #1 try using aperture of f3/4 to fade out the garden behind the bench and # 6, the building behind is distracting. a tight aperture of f5 would be good for more detail of the faces and use a silver reflector infront of them to remove the shadows from under their chins in #6.

I didn't see this one. Sorry.

I think the OP's use of the wide angle in #1 did not flatter the B&G as engagement shots should somehow express playfulness or deep emotion and elation. I don't get a sense of that enough in the images, but it is a good effort. I would like to know what equipment you used for these, especially the lenses because that is much more important than settings are for portraits.

Thank you everyone for the comments! I forgot about this thread, I thought my work was just that terrible and and not comment-worthy =]. Thank you guys, I definitely still have a ton of learning to do.

Since most have hit on the others, the first thing I noticed was that on the first picture, the wider lens at such a close distance seriously distorts the image making his head dwarf her head in size...and body, it looks like he has a kid on his lap.
