What is the difference between the Epson 4990 Pro Scanner and the Epson 4990 Scanner. . . besides the $150 difference in price?

The Pro scanner comes with a nicer suite of software. With the 4990 Photo version you get the limited version of Silverfast scanner, the Epson Scanner utility, and Photoshop Elements 2. The Pro edition has the full Silverfast software, Arcsoft suite of photo software, and Monaco EZColor(in itself worth $200). In other words, about $400 in software for another $150 in cash. The scanners are the same

An excellent scanner, by the way. The best I have used so far.

If we already have Photoshop CS, is the extra software still a good value for most users?
