Took this with my trusty 300D and Sigma 18-50mm near Lake Yamanaka, Japan.

Very cool! I like the pretty flowers, and mountain in teh background. If it were me, I would have shot from a bit higher above the tops of the flowers to give a better sense of depth, but then again that probably wouldn't have left much room for the mountain. So, great job!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks RbrtPtikLeoSeny! I did take quite a few shots at higher angles, but the road, etc. in the background became pretty visible. Here is one of them. Please tell me if you like it better:

Great shots! The first pic seems to be tilted a bit but then again the stem of the plants look vertical, so I guess that is the way it should be.
