View Full Version : Photos Collected From Strangers

I have been collecting photos from strangers by leaving disposable cameras around with a note attached that asks the finder to snap a photo then return the camera. Has any one else here tried this? Did you have success? The pictures I have gotten are collected on A Peoples Picture (http://apeoplespicture.blogspot.com). I am not trying to spam here, I am just curious what other people might have gotten.

I n my opinion 99.99 % are rubbish, since they can't even hold the camera straight , adn after that lighting is always the problem, but just once in a while out of sheer luck you can say, someone somewhere manages to take that perfect picture, that makes me feel, i need to learn more , a LOT more.
plus they are a great source of ideas so , yes, i do it whenever i am out of ideas ( writers block i think it's called)

I don't think the technical perfection of the photo is the point here. Its a nice idea just to see what people would capture with the camera they found.
It certainly makes for an interesting project.
Welcome to POTN too :)

How good you are technically taking the photo is more important
