has anyone used their 20d with an Belkin accessory to transfer jpeg files to their iPod? It needs a PTP protocol, what ever the hell that is.
any help would be great
Thanks!:???:

I've read it works but very very slowly, and the 20D has a PTP mode. A search on this forum might help you find discussions on it.

I've done it. The file transferring is done in one batch (bulk) process, (you cannot transfer individual files...you do it "all or nothing".) I would only use this as a backup now since the cost of CompactFlash is coming down.

I have a IPod Photo and love it. But really for the price I don't know that IPod's are the best tool for a PSD. The Belkin accessory has a really slow transfer (or so it seems). Now I have heard that the Apple version is faster. But I don't know since I don't have one.
I really think that you would be more satisfied with a different PSD solution.
